How to Prepare Logo Artwork for a Custom Apparel Order

A clean vector file is often useful for evaluating shapes and scaling. If only a raster image is available, provide the highest-resolution original rather than a screenshot.

Specify size and placement

State the intended width in centimetres or millimetres and identify the location, such as left chest or sleeve. Include a placement sketch when possible. A mockup establishes visual intent, while the final dimensions and production feasibility still need confirmation.

Control revisions

Use a clear version name and ask the approving person to check spelling, proportions and brand colors. If a logo changes after quotation or sampling, flag the change explicitly. An organized approval trail helps prevent outdated artwork reaching production.
